Youth Work

Youth workers and rangatahi who engage in positive youth development experiences, enhancing full potential through large group, small group and individual connection and relationships in spaces and places that are meaningful.

These include: holiday programmes, camps, wananga, and after school/evening programmes involving a variety of engaging activities, including; team building, team sports, creative problem solving tasks, self-care, outdoor adventure’s and character development initiatives.

Emphasis is placed on supporting and equipping young people with knowledge and skills to work towards a healthy transition into adulthood.

We encourage a long term positive relationship between youth workers, young people and their whanau. These programmes are offered to young people aged 12-24.
