Youth Development
"Walking alongside rangatahi aged 12-18 years, inspiring confidence through connection and community"
Our trained youth workers walk alongside rangatahi aged 12-18 and their whānau through mentoring, home visits, group programmes, and community-based activities. We create spaces where young people feel seen, supported, and connected, from after school and evening programmes to wānanga, holiday activities, and camps that build confidence, resilience, and belonging.
Each experience is designed to help rangatahi grow in character, strengthen relationships, and develop practical life skills that support a healthy transition into adulthood. Our focus is long term, nurturing meaningful, trust-based connections between youth workers, rangatahi, and whānau so they can live life in all its fullness.
Mentoring
One-to-one mentoring pairs rangatahi with a trusted youth worker who checks in regularly, listens well and helps them navigate school, home and life decisions.
Group Programmes
We run after-school, evening and holiday programmes that mix fun, adventure and learning so rangatahi can build friendships, try new things and discover their strengths.
Create Art Spaces
Create Art Space is a free, creative studio where young people can explore art and design, express their stories and develop their talents alongside youth workers and artists.
In School Programmes
Our team works in local schools to provide regular groups, mentoring and support that help students stay engaged in learning, build resilience and plan for their futures
Kaha Club
Kaha Clubs are wellbeing and fitness programmes that use movement, games and team challenges to grow confidence, self-discipline and positive peer relationships. They’re offered both in schools and at our on-site fitness gym.
